From an original family recipe comes this ultimate carrot cake. Exceptionally moist with a touch of cinnamon, and topped with a smooth cream cheese icing that creates a to-die-for experience.

Brownies:
Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!! Your heart will skip a beat when you bite into this rich, dark chocolate Brownie that has been topped an awesome chocolate cream cheese icing.

Caramel Bar:
Everyone's favourite! A rich shortbread base, decadent caramel filling, topped with a smooth Swedish truffle chocolate.

Ingredients: flour, palm oil margarine (milk, soy), sugar, milk ingredients, hydrogenated canola and cottonseed oil (milk, soy), yellow sugar, corn syrup. Topping: Truffle (vegetable oils (hydrogenated canola, palm & coconut oil, canola oil), sugar, cocoa powder, skim milk, hazelnuts, soy lecithin, artificial flavour).

 

Date Slice:
Wholesome traditional matrimonial squares... a superior date slice.

Ingredients: base/topping: flour, palm oil margarine (milk, soy), yellow sugar, rolled oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt. Filling: dates, water, sugar, modified cornstarch, salt, lemon juice powder (corn syrup solids, lemon juice solids, lemon oil), citric acid, caramel color, sodium benzonate, potassium sorbate.

 

Nanaimo Special:
A real Canadian treat. This is unquestionably the best Nanaimo bar available on the market today.

A layer of almonds set on top of a brown sugar shortbread base. For a bit of a twist on the traditional we have added oatmeal to the shortbread base… truly unique.

Sunburst Lemon:
An In Good Taste original: tangy lemon filling on a shortbread base.

Pecan Caramel Bars:
A pecan candy bar taste on a shortbread base.

Ingredients: base: yellow sugar, flour, palm oil margarine (milk, soy), rolled oats baking soda. Topping: hydrogenated canola and cottonseed oil (milk, soy), yellow sugar, corn syrup, sugar, water,milk ingredients, pecans, coconut (sodium metabuisulfite), white chocolate chips (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, whey powder, soya lecithin).

Cookie Dough

As children we watched Grandma make these cookies from start to finish. With lots of care and attention we have created cookies from Grandma's recipes for your home.

Arrange pre-formed frozen cookies on trays and place into a heated oven. In a few minutes memories of Grandma's kitchen have returned.

All cookie dough portions are 35 to 40 grams per cookie. Four dozen cookies per bag. Freezer life is nine months.

Chocolate Chip Deluxe Cookie:
A soft chewy oatmeal cookie loaded with pure chocolate chips.
Baking directions: Place cookies on trays 15 minutes before baking. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not overbake.

Ingredients: yellow sugar, flour, rolled oats, palm oil margarine (milk, soy), chocolate (sugar, chocolate liquor, cocoa butter, soya lecithine salt), egg, coconut (sodium metabisulphite), vanilla, baking soda.

 

Ginger Melts:
A soft melt in your mouth Ginger Snap Cookie. Once you have tried them you are hooked!
Baking directions: Place cookies on greased trays for 15 minutes before baking. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.

Ingredients: flour, sugar, non-hydrogenated vegetable shortening, eggs, blackstrap molasses, cinnamon, baking soda, ginger, salt.

 

Oatmeal Raisin Cookie:
The perfect companion with a glass of milk or a cup of tea.
Baking directions: Place cookies on tray 15 minutes before baking. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not overbake.

Ingredients: flour, rolled oats, palm oil margarine (milk, soy), yellow sugar, raisins, egg, baking soda, artificial vanilla, salt.

 

Double Chocolate Brownie Cookie:
A chewy chocolate cookie loaded with white chocolate chips. Death by chocolate!
Baking directions: Place cookies on greased baking tray for 15 minutes before baking. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake cookies for 10 minutes. Do not overbake.

Ingredients: sugar, flour, rolled oats, palm oil margarine (milk, soy), pure white chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, whey powder, soya lecithin), eggs, cocoa, baking powder, soda bicarbonate, vanilla.

 

Power Cookie:
This cookie is filled with a whole lot of healthy and wholesome ingredients: cranberries, golden flax seeds, sunflower seeds, coconut, oatmeal and white chocolate chips.
Baking directions: Place cookies on greased baking trays for 15 minutes before baking. Bake at 350 degree for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not overbake.

Ingredients: yellow sugar, hydrogenated vegetable margarine, flour, oatmeal, dried cranberries, egg, sunflower seeds, white chocolate chips (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, whey powder, soya lecithin), coconut (sodium metabisulfite), golden flax seeds, baking powder, almond extract, soda bicarbonate, spices.

 

New! One Smart Cookie:
Bursting with goodness: Almond flour, coconut oil, honey, sunflower and pumpkin seeds and cranberries. These cookies do not contain wheat or dairy and contain no added sugar.  A delicious treat!

Ingredients: Almond flour, honey, eggs, sweetened dried cranberries (cane  sugar, sunflower oil), coconut oil, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, coconut (sulfites), nutmeg, baking soda, vanilla extract, himalayan salt.

Jumbo Croissant:
This is a thaw, rise and bake product.
Baking directions: Thaw on trays for approximately 8 hours (overnight) covered. Bake at 350 F for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.

Ingredients: Enriched wheat flour, margarine(milk, soy), water, sugar, yeast, liquid whole eggs, salt, dough conditioner (wheat flour, guar gum, datem dextrose, canola oil, malt flour, ascorbic acid, enzymes), natural and artificial butter flavour.

 

Cinnamon Buns:
Warm, sticky, sweet and fresh is the best way to enjoy a cinnamon bun.
Baking directions: Spray 8" x 12" baking tray with cooking spray. Combine ½ cup of melted butter/margarine and ½ cup of brown sugar. Mix well and spread over the bottom of the pan. Add raisins, cranberries or pecans if desired. Arrange six Cinnamon Buns in baking tray. Let rise overnight on kitchen counter covered with a cloth. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees, bake Cinnamon Buns approximately 12 to 22 minutes. Invert baked Cinnamon Buns on serving tray.

Main Courses

Wild and brown rice pilaf:
Enjoy a blend of Saskatchewan wild rice, brown rice, cranberries, almonds and spices at your next gathering.
Cooking instructions: Put pilaf mix in a 10 cup oven-proof container. Add 4 cups of boiling water and 2 tablespoons of butter. Cover with lid or foil. Bake in 350 F over for 60 minutes. Stir before serving.

Ingredients: wild rice, brown rice, cranberries, onion mix (dextrose, salt, corn syrup, solids,dehydrated onions, hydrogenated soy and cottonseed oil, hydrolyzed soy and corn protein, corn starch, caramel, spice, parsley, disodium inosinate and guanylate, celery extract, garlic extract, beta carotene, sulphites), almonds, dried shiitake mushrooms, spices.

 

Cabbage rolls:
Our cabbage rolls have the following features and benefits:

  • Consistent size: traditionally-sized cabbage rolls with an average weight of 45 to 50 grams per cabbage roll (9 to 10 cabbage rolls per pound). The size and shape of each cabbage roll varies little;

  • High quality: traditionally made, each cabbage roll is tightly rolled with the ends tucked in. This method results in very little breakage;

  • Convenient and easy to use: for food service, simply place cabbage rolls in tray, cover with your favourite tomato sauce and bake until tender. Any remaining product may be refrozen until your next banquet. If breakage occurs do not discard this product; instead add to your soup pot of the day;

  • Versatile: can be served as a main course or an accompaniment. Vegetarians will be delighted with the taste and affordability of this unique all-rice product;

  • Selection: choose from three varieties -- rice, rice and bacon, rice and beef.

All product is shipped frozen. Keep product frozen until needed. Freezer life is nine months. Cooler life is five days.

Cheddar Cheese Perogies:
Handmade, tender, melt in your mouth... these words best describes our exclusive line of perogies.
Cooking instructions: Place frozen perogies in boiling water. Cook approximately 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Over-cooking results in more perogies breaking open). To prevent sticking, put melted butter between each layer when taking them out of the boiling water. To deep fry, fry in oil at 325 F (160 C) for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Packed 3 dozen per box.

Christmas Pudding:
Gloriously fragrant with sweet spices and rum soaked fruit, this is the ultimate in traditional Christmas puddings. This product comes in a 350 gram (3 to 5 servings) black designer microwavable container. A patterned over-wrap with an attractively designed label finishes the product. Christmas Puddings are shipped 16 per case.
Microwave directions: Remove Christmas Pudding from container. Turn out on to microwave safe plate. Heat for approximately 45 to 60 seconds until heated through. Serve with In Good Taste Caramel Rum Sauce. Serves 2 to 5. Net weight 350 grams.

Microwave instructions: Remove lid and heat in microwave on high for appoximately 30 to 60 seconds. Pour Caramel Rum Sauce over In Good Taste Christmas Pudding.
