Our fund-raising programs

In Good Taste offers organizations unique top quality food products to sell as a means of fund-raising, with the potential of great profits for your group.

How does it work? Select one of the two programs we have:

Our spring program offers high quality dessert slices, Greek appetizers, mealtime items--perogies and cabbage rolls--and pre-formed frozen cookie dough.
Our fall program includes everything listed in the spring program with an even larger selection that includes baked goods, spices, and excellent Christmas products like fruitcake, Christmas pudding and caramel rum sauce.

Your volunteers sell In Good Taste products, and your group makes 30 to 40 per cent profit on wholesale prices. Sounds simple... and it is.

We supply you with order forms free of charge. Just call and we will send you the necessary number of forms you need for a successful fund-raiser. At the same time, our representative will go over the complete structure of the fund-raising program with you.

We suggest that each person involved with your group be responsible for circulating the product information brochure for a period of about two weeks.

All cheques received from customers are made out for the total retail amount to your group, so you stay in total control of the finances. In Good Taste Food Service is paid with one group cheque. The amount owing will be the Total Order Amount on the Customer Order Sheet; this is the immediate profit for your group.

Once your fund-raiser are completed, your group coordinator is responsible for organizing and faxing the completed Customer Order Sheet to our head office at 1-888-597-4672. This will avoid any errors often associated with phone orders. When faxing orders, you will be asked to include the exact date and location of the delivery, and the phone number of the contact person who will be taking delivery.

In Good Taste Food Service will fax back an invoice with the amount owing. This amount should be the same as the faxed Customer Order Sheet. Once this is done a cheque from your group should then be sent immediately by mail, or presented if you are picking up the order at our commissary.

Orders are processed and shipped within 14 to 21 working days to a single destination of your group's choice, such as a school, business, church, community club, rink, etc. Please note: we cannot make deliveries to private homes. Be sure to read the pre-paid shipping requirement information below.

It is your group's responsibility to organize delivery of the product to your customers. Remember, a satisfied customer is a repeat customer!

Shipping is usually done by a long-haul trucking company. On delivery please count all boxes received in your shipment and confirm total box count with the waybill from the trucking company. Only sign if total box count matches and the shipment arrives in an undamaged state.

This procedure will allow for us to put in a claim in the unlikely event that an item did not make it to the final destination, or if damage to the product has occurred.

Minimum requirements for pre-paid freight

Freight charges for transporting frozen products are high. Therefore In Good Taste Food Service requires that orders have a minimum dollar value to qualify for shipping that is free to your group.

Please note that if you do not reach the minimum free shipping levels, you can still raise funds with our programs. Just contact In Good Taste Food Service head office and we will gladly discuss and negotiate the additional cost of freight.

Shipping Minimums (Wholesale Total):

100 kilometre radius of Togo, SK: $1,000.00
All other points in Saskatchewan: $1,300.00
Manitoba: $1,300.00
Alberta: $1,800
Ontario, points including Thunder Bay and West: $2,000.00
British Columbia: $2,000

All pre-paid shipping is done by common transport trucking companies. Costs for shipments that require modes of transportation other than common transport trucking are subject to negotiation to cover any additional costs incurred.
